How do you feel about this Actual Career?
It is a good rewarding, full-time or part time profession. It provides good pay with benefits and is stable (very much in demand at the present).
Was your degree helpful in your career field?
In your opinion, what kind of education did you need to get this career?
It requires a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences before you are eligible to take a state board exam.
Experience, Skills, Specialized Training, Licenses, or Certifications:
Drug store experience is helpful along with people skills. An intern requirement is normal in most states and state licensure is required. During the internship, it is helpful to become a certified Pharmacy Technician and work with Pharmacists learning about your future career and increase your pay as well.
Just one more thing….
Currently, I work as a relief Pharmacist and do travel (I receive mileage allowance) within a 60 mile area.
